Supply the existing inquiry ID with no request body. The response returns the current inquiry in data and preserves its ID. See field definitions.
Supported actions are hosted RFIs from the new live personal USD flow and sandbox RFI scenarios. Manual inquiries cannot be refreshed. You cannot supply a replacement URL, action ID, or completion status.
Use the result
- Pending with a usable
link: replace the cached link and show it. - Completed or cancelled: stop prompting. No new action is created.
- Link unavailable or
409: fetch current state before prompting again.
Sandbox refresh invalidates that step's old link. The replacement lasts 14 days; live link lifetimes may differ. Refreshing does not approve verification or activate an account.
A changed public link or status can emit inquiry_request.updated; an unchanged refresh emits nothing. Completion is confirmed asynchronously through Inquiry Events.
